The automotive industry changed extensively in the last 30 years, but people who work in this area still struggle with obsolete management systems from the old days. Luckily our client decided to change old habits, and together we built an innovative solution for dealerships, repair shops, and used cars dealers.

The complex ecosystem offers companies tools for market analysis, vehicles purchases, CRM, stock management, selling, audits, accounting, and servicing. It integrates hundreds of use-cases and 30+ car manufacturers, including Mercedes, Lexus, VW, etc.

We reimagined the 30 years old solution used by the major part of the Czech and Slovakian automotive market from scratch. The redefinition encompasses new seamless flows, stable technologies, high performance, security, and readiness to scale all over the globe. The new solution required an in-depth analysis of existing data, systems, features, and users behavior. Data migration had to be swift and smooth without any impact on the businesses of its users.

To help the client deliver a product with the highest possible value for the customers, we worked under the SCRUM framework in a group of 8 scrum members. The team has already carried out over 40 sprints in 2 weeks iterations. Jimmy also covers the Product Owner role, ensuring the bridge between business, product, and development is efficient.

We follow the domain-driven design on top of the architecture inspired by the hexagonal approach. We turned certain parts of the system into microservices, and the whole infrastructure is described in Terraform and runs in Kubernetes clusters.
